Stop calling it a beta

but...it is a paid beta.

the game might have content and working systems, but the game is not at its 100% completion...
by definition, it is a beta.
The devs are figuring out/working on how the game should be. we the community give feedback about it and then the developers use the feedback to influence their final desitions.

When you say prequel, the only thing that I can think of is the Star Wars Prequel Trilogy and how that turned out...
