Sure isn't pointless to all the groups having a blast trying to beat it. They've been wanting a boss that's truly difficult for years and they finally got one. Savage is casual mode compared to Ultimate and doesn't make them feel challenged. From now on, all the super hardcore players will treat Savage as a warm up/prep time for Ultimate. Ultimate is what they care about. You should try watching streams like 5150 or Xeno. They're loving it.
