That's our community for you, and the reason we don't get nice things.
Anyway I'm with OP, I want to hear from the people who are actually running the content. I don't raid so I want to live vicariously through you...

Unfortunately, that was inevitably since plenty here don't appreciate it being "too hard."
Anywho! I can only relay from what I've been watching on Twitch but the general consensus has been quite positive. Twintania looks reasonably challenging without seguing into a frustrating mess. That being said, mechanic checks are strict. Even just two deaths means you'll likely hit enrage without very high DPS. In terms of homage, I'd say it definitely echos. Nael and Bahamut have crazy introductions. I haven't seen the latter yet, however reddit has clips showing him basically smacking you with a Calamity. So far we're nearing the twelve hour mark with Elysium, Angered and a JP team all on Bahamut that we know of.
If you're curious, here's the selection of streamers progging.

Xenosys said that so far he can feel it comparable to second coil savage but he is nael so take it with care

				and
There are a fair few streams going at the moment wherein you can see people progressing on Nael. It definitely seems like a nice callback to the mechanics from the Binding Coil of Bahamut, but it also seems relentless.
It's definitely not for everyone.
I think this is the "absolute despair" that those Danganronpa games refer to.

Eh, I heard the same argument back when I was trying to PUG Sophia and losing my mind. I mean, the majority of us are still going to TRY the remaining savage raids, but the whole “dead in seconds, no margin for error whatsoever” does wear a bit at times. Challenging, sure. Fun? Eh... jury is outI hate to be /that guy/, but if you think any of the fights in this game even borderline on impossible, then you (or the group you are running with) simply are not very good at this game, and the content wasn't made for you to begin with.
The only hard fight currently in the game (before ultimate coil) is Exdeath Savage, and that's only because of randomness elements.

Your kind of fun is not everyone's kind of fun. Sorry to be blunt about it but just because this kind of challenge doesn't appeal to you doesn't mean it is a failureEh, I heard the same argument back when I was trying to PUG Sophia and losing my mind. There is so much margin for error in the new savage raids, you can have multiple deaths and still clear easily. Hell the other week the sch and I (war) duo'd nearly the last 5% of halicarnassus with everyone dead lol. It's really not that bad.
At any rate, been watching Xeno's stream on and off throughout the day. I can't wait to relive Twintania with savage-ish mechanics. I always sucked at t9 so Nael will be tough. Haven't seen any Bahamut play

				:thonking:
Though, to respond to the person you were responding to, most fights do allow for a margin of error. Even in Eggs-D you can have some deaths without it preventing you from getting to Neo and onward.
This tier feels pretty forgiving in comparison to the soul crushing static breaker that was Gordias.
As for the most difficult fight in the game? I think it makes sense for it to punish any errors.

People really need to stop comparing things to gordias it was over tuned it has no bearing on anything regarding balance use Midas for comparisons please.Clearly never played Gordias when it was current.
