Help me Un-Scrubify Myself (yes that's a word)

After following the SB story and getting my WAR to 70 I'm working on my DRK (currently at 58), I've mostly been using a guide on FATE grinding (where to at what level etc) yet a few people I know swear that PotD is far superior in speed. (Apparently level 50+ is where the real exp is) So... how exactly do I go about it? Do I look for a set party to grind it with? do I just enter for a matched party? tips? tricks? Help me not be a total scrub

When it comes to leveling in PotD you can either set a SR party for floor 51-60 or just queue up constantly for floor 51-60 with a matched party. They "usually" go fast. In addition, don't forget to do your roulettes at the end of the leveling routine (as their EXP is proportional to your max required EXP), challenge log and job quests. You can also do the HW's hunting marks, they give you decent EXP in addition to gil and Centurio Seals.

    EDIT: And beast tribes.

This is what I do when I need to level a class.

    1. Make sure you have all experience buff active, think of buff from food and the FC buff.
    2. Complete the daily roulettes, they provide alot of experience points.
    3. Finish the following challenge logs: FATES, Dungeons, Guildhest and player commendation.
    4. Do the daily Beastribe quests at your level, you can do 3 quests at the Vanu Vanu and 3 at the Vath, those 6 quests toghter will provide alot of experience points.
    5. Spam the highest level dungeon.

You already leveled a Warrior, so I take it, you are a experienced tank who is fine with chain pulling and pulling two groups and more. When you are done with the list above, spam the highst level dungeon that you can enter and always pull two groups or more. When your Dark Knight is level 60, you will be fine with pulling two or 3 groups when doing dungeons, the only SB dungeon that I had issues with pulling 2 groups or more was Bardam's Mettle and 80% of the time its, because the group is undergeared.

If you are planning on doing Palace of the dead, only do it for while you are level 58-60 after level 60 the experience gained is bad and as a tank doing dungeons will bring you alot more experience points. Do it with a group of randoms and do the first part of the second half, I think this was floor 51-60.

PS: At level 60 you can do the new Kojin daily quests with your Dark Knight.

IMO I only found PotD appealing as an exp source for DPS jobs which suffered a queue time averaging between 5-20 minutes depending on time and what I was queuing in duty finder. With healer and tank jobs they almost always queued instantly which made DF feel like a much faster EXP source.

Also less soul crushing than potd. I've easily run potd 1000's of times, it gets mind numbing.
