It also said it was his first time getting the pathway that had 3 short pieces of text to read through, which makes it pretty clear they'd run the dungeon already and weren't stopping to watch cutscenes.

You said even if you had the option to screenshot and read later, you wouldn't. You also won't play through to the end and then go back and read them at your own leisure. You expect a 24 man raid party to wait for you because you can't be bothered reading it on your own time. This is selfish.

I’m not budging on this. My answer is firmly no on any alternative. I want to experience the tame naturally, and if that means reading plaques on the first time of being in that route, then I’m going to do it, and embrace the full new feeling of the experience. It’s not often appreciated that the three routes are randomized, therefore making each run a unique experience in the dungeon.

That's your right and that's fine. I'm just saying that I greatly dislike your tone as if people are lesser or impatient for not doing specifically what you want, yet if the grand majority of your group decided that they did not want it, you would do it anyway. It's a two way street. If you really think that even if you could properly screenshot and later, but won't, then don't be surprised if people could let you read it, but won't. If you demand that they follow your desires but completely ignore theirs, it makes you incredibly selfish and honestly just a jerk.

You're just being stubborn now. But you do you. And I hope you have fun doing it :3 If you insist on doing it "properly" that much, then it's probably best to queue as a dps. People are a bit more forgiving then, because missing a dps is not as bad as missing a healer or tank. That way you also lower the risk of getting kicked.

The way I think of it to myself is, if I was in a tense battle, enemies around would I stop to read the wall inscriptions? No... but if I was really there, after I cleared the danger I would go back and read it! So I don't mind returning and reading afterwards. I do think it was rude for OP to be kicked though.

You must be a delight in MSQ roulette dungeons. That is not to say I appreciate any of this either, my first run through those dungeons was awful and I had my FC take me through it unsynced later so I could properly enjoy the cutscenes the way that place was intended to be experienced. But this isn't even some 8 person dungeon, it's a 24 person raid, you probably wiped on Hashmal about 5 times and people want to see the world beyond that Natural Essence poster boy. 23 other people. Screenshot the chat boxes, click on it so it'll be in your chat log for later viewing, and then sprint like your life depended on it. Anything SE does that requires you made the rest of your party wait on you is bad design. Even if the entirety of Alliance B took their time to read the things, you're still keeping Alliances A and C waiting. It's not the most thought out thing ever and they keep doing this.

Because I'm sure that was the intended idea. Regardless, the alliances could have pulled without the OP and been done with it. Kicking them is where it's just a plain dick move.

I wasn't even insulting him (or didn't mean to. I apologize if I did). But I edited my original post specifically for you. But honestly, idk why you are so butthurt over something that was not even aimed at you :P
