Can we stop hijacking my thread please? It’s time for other people to say their woes, which was the threads intent.
Here's an idea S-E: Allow people time to actually see the burning sword in Hashmal's hand and react accordingly when they're more than halfway from the safe area. Or, at the VERY least, cut that Flesh Wound damage to something that will allow healers to do something about it.
Honestly my best advice is to always keep to the middle of the arena and when he jumps away, IMMEDIATELY look for the fire. That entire attack is easy to dodge if you keep yourself glued to the middle, but it's a chore to get used to as a ranged class. Here's an idea S-E: Allow people time to actually see the burning sword in Hashmal's hand and react accordingly when they're more than halfway from the safe area. Sprint. The second he jumps, get to middle. You have 1-2 seconds to be near the middle before he reappears OOB and then another 2-3 seconds to move into the right place. Here's an idea S-E: Allow people time to actually see the burning sword in Hashmal's hand and react accordingly when they're more than halfway from the safe area. what's the issue with hashmal again? He isn't hard at all. If you can't draw an imaginary line once the pillars are cut to see where they are landing it's a player issue. if you cannot stand in your parties corner, it's a player issue. If you you keep on hitting the boss when adds are around it's a player issue. if you stand infront of the boss even though you are not the tank it's a player issue. If you cannot see the glowing hand in time it's a player issue.
Most of the damage is avoidable and can easily be healed by single healer per party. if too many ppl are dead for the sand bubbles just kill 2 and heal up. better than 2 or 3 bubles blowing up.
Because when you don't go in premade you often encounter a lot of those "player issues".what's the issue with hashmal again? He isn't hard at all. sure it's other players failing, but why do they fail to begin with? if you follow what was taught to you in the hall of the beginners you should be able to beat Hashmal. Just going by mechanics Mateus is harder, so are the other 2 bosses.
Pretty much. Unlike the 8 man raids, the 24 man variants suffer from an even more severe case of players wanting to be carried; and for the most part if it's just one or two people you can get away with it. However as the skill level required to clear basic content increases, so does the difficulty in optional content and not everyone has honestly adjusted to it. Plus, although most of us have this content on farm at this point there's a sizable amount of people who might be queuing for the first time who genuinely want to learn but are going to have to crack a few eggs along the way mixed in with the lazy.
The only thing I'm salty about is how in the final boss the "keep moving" marker doesn't convey that at all and is super dumb so I kind of looked like an idiot for my first couple of runs not knowing what it did...
Also I'm a bit salty we didn't get any FFXII remixes in Rabanastre of all places
