Suggestion for an Ishgard-based housing area

PLEASE give us Ishgard housing. Additionally, please keep it snowy/cold-looking.
I know Yoshi P said “After we have established Shirogane’s housing wards, we feel that possibility wise, rather than Ala Mihgo, maybe Ishgard might be a higher consideration point. We’re hoping by then Ishgard won’t be as frigid and cold.”

But we WANT it frigid and cold! There are already lots of warm/temperate areas... let us have our cozy cottage in the snow or foreboding manse.

Great job on the picture, I love the layout and features! Like someone else said, a Shiva memorial might not make sense for newer players, but your terrain is terrific.

I would love for them to retroactively add an Ishgardian housing district, because it would add so many new houses and district variety while still appeasing those of us who like to have the non-instanced houses we have today.

Add a whole bunch more wards and this, and I think we'll be on our way. C:

i like the idea, but like other's said: there are lots of places and adding more than one would be nice XD

there's the bannered floating islands in the sea of clouds (more tribalish feel?), could do one off idyllshire (goblins. only explanation needed, maybe a bit steampunky?). I mean, i play an Au Ra, i'd love to have a house off the Steppe.

The main reason I say they should do multiple areas and add them all in the same update is because of what happened with shirogane. The new housing areas would be spread out reducing connection stress on a single zone.

They really can't use cold environments are terrible places for gardens as an excuse. Central Highlands and a certain quest line say it could be otherwise.

I hope this becomes a reality. I think nearly all of us will forgive inaccurate snow physics (as in it doesn't linger on our yard furnishings) and gardening in the cold clime. Just give us our snowy chalets and some hotspring pools for swimming. Call it the Coerthas Resettlement Initiative and claim the Holy See is using it to lure adventurers to prop up Ishgards forces in the war (to prolong having to ask the Eorzean Alliance for help).
