As for the OP, where did you get your Phd. in Server Mergers?

As much as I would like to agree with you I see no problem in the smaller more desolate servers merging together to match the population of the larger servers equaling 4-600 at peaks.

As for the problem of LSs getting split up this can be fixed by simply merging two entire servers without giving the players a choice where to go.

The big problem I think really has to do with Names and how certain players share the same first and last names, and then there are their retainers too...

I think he's trying to tell us the low population server should suck it up and deal with the fact they have nobody to play with....

He also seems to think that S-E porting content from current to 2.0 has anything to do with the current servers login system?

OP clearly has lost his mind and clearly has novice knowledge of server and storage systems. I'm not going to go into details, but here are a few words.

SAN, NAS, Vsphere,VM, DBs. Player and item DBs usually reside outside of 'world' servers, so please put your doom and gloom back into your pocket kthxbye.
