Stormblood tanks are not new
I think Savagelf wants to know what we think about rdm and sam and what we like to see in future jobs.
I like rdm and sam design and how the do damage in different ways by sticking to a theme.
Theme is very important and then the role. The role for them worked out great
For future jobs I want the same thing, the theme has to be involve things that they do to do that role and be effective.
The one new job I want the most is Geomancer, hopefully they will use nature and basically "cook" recipes that affect enemies over time and eventually in a burst. I know this sounds similar to Smn but with Geomancer it would be purely situational, so it would depend if you need a tornado to bring enemies close or a hurricane to do damage over time. Things like that.
EDIT:
I want Geomancer to be a tank. Tornado brings enemies together, hurricane is a nice DOT. A tank skill I propose is "tree wall" where they summon a tree they can hide behind and take less damage!This tree stays there for an amount of time and even allies can use it to hide behind

I honestly just want more non-aetherical healers like Chemist to be added, though I want them to be added in such a way that they don't worsen the currently precarious balance that AST's inclusion brought to the table. It's much /much/ better now but having a third healer that's basically a mish mash of the other two with random chance thrown in was bound to cause issues, though I beg people to not take that as my proclaiming hatred of the class itself. I'm just not fond of how SE approached the whole balance conundrum.
As for current classes, I'm pretty happy with where SCH currently is even though I'm still very much miffed at how PAINFUL MCH is before you get Cooldown. They really need to shuffle around some of the abilities because the class just is not fun to play before level 52.
I want this thread for people come up with different job possible here and future so we look each other ideal and read them and learn for each other opinions how they like see future jobs. also it give the devs sometime ideals thread
