Small FCs unite! Looking for collaboration partners for events & peer support

Heya, people.

I'm a leader of a small free company Soul Serenity «Soul», and while we are mostly happy with our member count, arranging and holding events can be a bit tricky with not that many members. Chatting and hanging out is all good and fun, but contests, giveaways, shows, raids, maps? While it's nice to know everyone to the degree of not having to be too self-conscious, there is a lot of content that is only accessible with at least 6-8 people. And PF or DF? Random people can be awesome... or not.

I'd like to provide my peeps an environment free of hostility and only small doses of salt, but still be able to do stuff. Be it events for fun or more focused raiding, I can't provide everything by myself. So!

I'd like to find and join or create an union for FCs in this same situation. A linkshell for FC leaders/other people with responsibilities as well as a linkshell for members to chat in when their own FC is being quiet!


Linkshell for FC leaders

• Planning and holding events together
• Peer support: having responsibilities can be rough, so it'd be good to have people in similar positions to vent to, talk with, and laugh about things

Linkshell for general socializing

• New friends!
• More people to talk with in case one's FC has a quiet patch or they are not feeling talkative that particular day
• Not enough people for [thing]? Ask someone from a different FC to join without risking getting a serving of douchewaffles from PF/DF

«Soul» already has Soul Serenity linkshell for gathering more people together, but I haven't been able to make it grow. Peer support/sharing leadership with someone would help!

So: any FC leaders around who'd be interested in collaboration? Any regular players wanting to join a social linkshell full of friendly people?

That actually sounds like a great idea, thank you for taking initiative!

I'm the FC leader of Haven «Haven». We are a small FC, but we're growing! My vision is to create a community of players who help each other, collaborate and is able of running all forms of content. I'm mostly interested in recruiting beginners and showing them the ropes. Some of them become super stars in very little time and that's incredible to watch ^_^

That being said, we are also at the point where it's not possible to put together a full party to run any sort of specific content. If by joining forces we improve player experience then I'm all for it. Let's get in touch!

We from VK (Vagabond Knights)Vagabond Knights are looking forward to your initiative, and would love to join, aid this collaboration.

I am one of VK'S 4 leaders, Together with Zeg Eldis, Aurey Daita and Surpanakha Verloren.
Our FC is one of the older once in the Phoenix server (founded in 2013) and although our numbers variate depending on how new a patch is, we are eventually running out of people to topple the bigger content with.

we know about people avoiding DF and PF cause of mentioned before "communication"

we would love to get in touch and promote this unite FC linkshell to our members.
im sure that with joining forces with other fcs we can enjoy the world of ff14 better and with much more joy and gain more friends and social aspect on the phoenix server.

I created the linkshell "FC union" for us leaders to plan things in, and got in touch with Masuru and Shado, and I'm excited for the future. I also invited some Haven members into the Soul Serenity linkshell in which to socialize and get to know Soulies and other friends. We should get along well.

If someone is reading this and thinking 'dayum, I want in' or 'gosh, my fc should do this but I'm not the leader', do post and/or tell about this thread to the said leader. Or approach me (Ara Kirani) or Ayleth Abel for in-game invite, if you catch either of us online. Masuru and Shado can also invite, but I don't want to talk for them.
