What can be done about this?

You can come up with a solution that doesn't involve imposing your views on how houses should be decorated on others. Fortunately though, you don't get to decide how people enjoy their houses. You didn't get a house and that sucks. I get it. But please stop trying to find ways of removing houses from people that did get them.
