A couple of things to make life in Eorzea all the sweeter in the future

Just some things i was thinking about for the future to more immerse myself into the game:

-Merchants could be subject to a change of outfit much like the retainers so that they could match the interior of the homes they reside in.

-Eternal bonding ceremony will give both parties shared storage. As well as the ability to have both parties share a plot of land so that if one person cancels sub the other can still acess land without being subject to the 45 day limit.

-When buying a FC storage chest for a Private home, it turns into a extra storage unit for those deemed able to access it. The property manager would be able to toggle this in the Housing menu. Or have some of the wardrobes able to have inventory slots for clothing.

Maybe make merchants based on the housing districts... I'd say no to shared storage beyond free company chests... it would be nice if tenents entering houses could reset the 45 day counter...

Make alt characters on the same world be automatic tenants that do not count torwards the limit on purchased private house/apartment

I'm for a shared storage on account or atleast a way to mail things between your own characters.

Pretty sure account storage/mail isn't a thing to curb illegal trade activities

not really. theres multiple MMO's out there with shared account storage and/or the ability to mail things to yourself. Cant really see how sending things between your own characters on the same account can be abused aside from maybe what some LS members often did in FFXI where they mailed things to themselves as a type of temp storage because they didn't want to buy another character slot for a mule. force DC duping generally doesn't happen in most MMOs now as the data isn't stored locally.

Idk i think that shared storage between eternally bonded characters brings another level of intimacy into the system. I like the idea of it.

Shared storage would be pretty cool. My in-game hubby and I craft a lot together; generally housing items and it's a joint effort - I'll help gather the mats and bring them to him to craft things if I can't do it myself, etc. It's annoying having to trade back and forth with one another and if one is offline, we have to mail it to each other or put it in the FC chest which not everyone has the luxury of being able to use space in their FC chests for personal use (without fear of it being taken too).

So yeah, a shared storage would be nice between people with an EB. Especially because it's more storage space in general which anyone could theoretically get (as long as they have someone willing to bond with them), even for free, unless they lock it behind the paid version - but still, extra storage for a one time fee is great...much better than the monthly BS for retainers and the added benefit of sharing it is cool. Although I guess the issue becomes "What happens if you 'divorce'?"

Shared storage as an option after EB would be fine, but I would absolutely not like it to be automatic. My EB partner in-game is my IRL husband and I honestly don't want to share storage even with him, if for no other reason than that I am OCD with how I organize my in-game items and having him poke around in there would drive me up a wall. Sharing FC chest space with him is bad enough as it is.

I was imagining it as an extra storage space separate from your normal storage. If it's your normal storage being shared, then yeah... no thanks. If it's an extra storage chest that you can share then yes.

My EB partner is my irl wife as well, i guess it could be annoying to have someone messing up your inventory, but hey thats what EB is all about LOL
