Nothing screams community like a house with no exterior or interior.

hmm funiture exprenive? using GC seals and the shops in the housing wards you can decorate a house for quite cheap, OK its not going to look good but at least its a basic look

Just because you would and you can't imagine any other way to use a house does not make that a true statement.
It's only an issue if you made one, but don't see the problems with an empty house o3o
Don't ask me about U
Again, decorating is expensive. Just because they don't have the items in a few weeks doesn't mean they never will nor does it mean that they have any less passion than you do. Imagine.... someone saves for months on end and they get JUST enough gil for that plot - not even enough for the house permit! They managed to get the plot and already probably feel a bit bad as everyone around them has already built their homes, but they have to go back to the old gil grind to get the gil to actually build the house itself and they must do it within 45 days (because the auto demolition timer will reclaim your land if you don't enter the house..... even if you don't have a house to enter, the rule still applies). After working tirelessly so as not to lose all the hard work they just put into it, they finally get the gil for the house permit.
Then they are sitting there with 1,000 gil to their name and they're exhausted. Maybe they want to take a break; I wouldn't blame them. It can be tiring to work the markets or whatever every single day if you don't actually enjoy doing it. But even if they didn't take a break, they still have to work up their gil reserves again. Even just buying several counters is easily over 40k gil.
You sound like a salty french fry. I'm sorry if you didn't get a house but not everyone can afford to decorate that quickly. And some rely on friends to help make furniture and those friends may be helping several people which makes it hard to work quickly (I myself am helping to decorate 3 larger sized estates...I can only work so fast!). Or are you saying that people who aren't mega rich, but worked very hard to get their plots, don't deserve them as much as you do?

「Life is such a fragile thing…」
Why do people care what others do with their plot? If people paid for it and choose to take their time it is NOT an issue. On the other hand, if people missed out on plots and are just being salty that is an issue. Too many Salty people in the world -.-. and we have no control over that.
How do you know how a person enjoys their house? I don't have many decorations but I enjoy it's location and set up. I have everything I need in one area. I don't have the time right now to decorate it the way I want, plus I suck at decorating. I enjoy my house for the functionality, not the decor.
This is just an house enthusiasts opinion, if you are one of the people who suck at decoarting and enjoy an empty house that's fine. But I don't need you to come here since I simply dont carre what you have to say about my opinion. I am not stating this up since I'm whining how I don't have a house since I do. I just hate walking the empty areas with ghost houses and other people like me who loves to decorate and be inside their houses could do so much more with them.
