Home to the madcap, the wayward, the independent warrior and the soldier of fortune alike. The Fireborn is a Mercenary Company hosted out of Ul'Dah but have business across Eorzea proper, headed by Garen and Liliana Stone.

Their structure is simple on paper but is held together by discipline and commitment.

Socially, the Fireborn treat each other as though they were friends and family alike. They are a close community on a first name basis. Frequently, they talk shop, mingle and socialize outside of contract fuilfillment.

In an economic sense, the Fireborn take contracts from both the Grand Companies and private individual clients.

In an OOC aspect, here are a few things to consider;

Empire Building: We're not in the empire business. Our goal isn't to become one of the biggest FCs on Balmung. We're in the friend making business. We want people who are looking for the good times and are cool to chit-chat. This isn't to say that we'll think something's off if you don't say hi every day, but we like people we can roleplay with in-game as well as generally hang out with in other settings. (We also play various other games together!). Participation isn't mandatory. We just like people.

Events: A personal interest of myself and a few others, we host events on at least a bi-weekly basis. This is usually done on Friday or Saturday, sometimes in the form of a multi-pieced campaign, sometimes as one shots. We use a dice system to keep it vaguely familiar to the undertones of DND. This keeps things neat and orderly with 8 to more players, letting dice create an uncertainty factor. It has some depth, but not so much that you'll scratch your head when you take a look. Preparing your character for dice events is as short as 5 minutes tops. These events will require five minutes of your time in setup to be good for the rest of your stay with us. Want to host an event of your own? No problem! Just contact an Officer so we can put it up on the calendar.

Discord: We use Discord for everything. From every piece of information that's relevant to the FC at large to our general chatter in the channel. We cannot stay in contact with you if you do not use this! Final Fantasy is stubbornly more difficult than World of Warcraft when it comes to trying to inform multiple players at once and arranging times!
