    Hello everyone,

are there good non-specialist macro out there? I've been searching a bit all over the internet but I find either specialist macro or non-specialist macro that require a ton of CP I don't have yet.
The situation is that I've quite finely crafted and melded the last mhigan set, but only the WVR has the highest stats for now with the needle (base 1522 craft, 1398 cont and 476 CP). Now that I'd like to craft the tools for my other two specialties, I have to use non-spe classes with lesser stats (base 1407 craft, 1327 cont and 466 CP) but can't change specialty (red scripts all want into IV materias). Are there any non-specialist macro that I could use to craft the oils and tools reliably?
Well, obviously, non-specialists are gonna be of a slight disadvantage comparing to specialists since they don't have Reflect. So it's expected that non-specialst macros will require even more CP to compensate this. I am pretty sure you can easily modify a non-specialist macro into something that requires fewer CP, but chances are that it's not going to work very well in HQ-ing your item. So you might as well just manual craft it.

I have tried S'yahn Tias' non-specialist macro, taken from the reddit post that Rinuko posted earlier. And it works fine.

But the CP requirement was misleading on the reddit post. It should be 536 CP after food consumption. It is very high. To cut down CP cost, you may change Ingen2 to Ingen1, but if it impacts progress of the CS IIs too much, you may just take out Innovation instead. Either way, it will make the macro weaker though.

As you can see, even at the moment, it can only get up to 24% HQ rate. So a lot of HQ mat is required. So if you can't afford the HQ mat and the CP requirement, then I don't think you should macro it. Just manual craft then.
