I didnt find click-and-buy confusing when I initially set it up in 2010, but hearing all bad issues with them i opt'd to crysta and used Paypal lol (EU/UK Account here)

my C&B account is temporary blocked for some reason.
i can't verify my CC because of the two random amount they charge not coming in USD in my statement.
i convert the amounts to USD then write it down there but still not correct.
did that for like 6 times then my CC got expired because you entered the wrong confirmation amounts 6 times. ><

i think better if i tried creating new account but i'm not sure if my CC will work on other account

Hopefully today's C&B maint will,at least, allow people willing to play to reactivate their options. And indeed, after the uproar they got from FFXI account migration (and forced to move from direct payment to C&B or crysta) i do was expecting a smoother situation here...and odd enough it was actually worse than FFXI's one ><

I purchased 3,000 crysta.

My bank called me, they cancelled my card, locked my checking account and mailed me a new debit card. I'll get it in 5-7 business days.

Good of your bank to safeguard your security, but, wow. I hope you read them the riot act when they called you. They shouldn't typically take such measures without your consent (obviously you should have gotten an immediate call to see if you authorized the purchase before doing something that would leave you without a debit card). If you're anything like me, this leaves you without your primary source of payment for just about everything, and now you'll spend the next week changing out your card number with various utilities/merchants. Fantastic. /facepalm

That said. It's pretty telling when a payment merchant has such a shady reputation that when they process a legitimate transaction, it causes your bank to hit the panic button.

Very irresponsible of SE to turn subscriptions on without being able to directly accept payment.

Banks could be locking accounts using click and buy because, oh, I dunno they take money and never give it back? There are several cases where they've taken money to verify accounts and never given that money back. They are a fail system and banks most likely have them flagged for this and that's why they are treated as a threat.

SE, it would just be better for you to break your freaking contract with them and pay them to get out of it sooner than to stay and have customers go through all this dumb crap.
