Mount Music PLEASE

I particularly want this whenever I use the Magitek Armour mount. I really like Terra's Theme, but the armour's noisy footsteps nearly drown it out. I keep trying to stop a moment so I can listen, except stopping also stops the music. (Ok, technically stopping only lowers the volume of the music, but by enough that I can't effectively listen to it.)

I'd like to be able to disable the combat music. The sound of it makes me tense when I'm running through a zone and draw aggro on something I have no intention of stopping to fight... I'm weird.
