    Materia drops, and other items.

    Ok I'm not sure if this belongs in the dungeons or the items section but is there any chance we can get some changes to the way normal non-rollable items such as Materia drop? Realistically it should just give players items on a rotation starting with a random player. Instead we frequently see stuff like this happening.



    I wasn't so bothered when it was entry level crafting trash, but when we're talking about level VI materia I can actually use or sell, I want the loot to be fairly distributed, and random doesn't always equal fair.

    (Oh and nothing but love for the players who got the Materia, you guys were an awesome group.)

    I don't see the problem, it's the same as if they made the loot rollable, the only difference is they removed the ability to pass on it. One person randomly getting 4 tier VI materia is the same as if they rolled need and won all 4 times.

    No, it's akin to them only having a need button regardless of the loot dropped, that's inherently unfair in the same way the current system with materia is.

    What we have is a random allocation without the fairness the need/greed/pass system provides, I honestly don't want to see Materia class limited by stats because it limits character builds. However I also don't think it's fair for six drops to go to two people as I've shown above. The easiest way to fix this is to have it allocated in turn starting with a random player.
