Request: Hempen Garb - Racial Unlock

I really hate this idea. However, if it's so important to give Female Highlander gear to cat girls, the option should go to everyone. Make it available to males as well. It's only equality if all can use them.

You say this like it's supposed to be a bad thing, but I would be blissfully happy if they did this. Males desperately need more shorts options, and most (all?) versions of the hempen pantalettes are unique shorts models.

Wow! This isn't just about giving skimpy gear to cat-girls! The point you are missing is that some of us would like the option to cover up! For example, the female elezen set is elegant, simple and covers a lot more skin than the Roe top, I'd love to be able to wear that, and some of the other camises, rather than stay locked to a single, shiny leather halter.
More choice is good for everyone. Not every female Highlander is going to want to show a lot of skin, some elezens might like to show more. Where's the harm?

Strike that, reverse it. A lot of people want Miqo'te and Midlander styles on other race. There is nothing that I've seen that indicates any cultural significance for the hempen, nor the starter sets. People can choose what to wear in real life. There is very little in the way of distinct cultures divided on racial lines in the game.

Yes, please fix this. I would kill for the highlander version on my Miqo'te. I absolutely cannot stand the version my race gets.

the underwear doesn't bring any racial identity
especially with how frilly the female au ra set is
doesn't really match au ra at all
and the male elezen set is basically longer sleeve version of the shi sui sets for males

i think SOME of the hair could be open up to more races
not so much the ones with the actual spikes coming out but like the hime cut or the buzz cut

im all for more racial identity and clothing
but the hempen sets being locked is pretty dumb with how simple they all are

There has been quite a lot of interest in this (including from me); having the hempen outfits unlocked by race. Some people feel inclined to fantasia if not choose a race outright based on glamour; it's silly and extreme I know but choosing things based on best glamour really is a thing.

This is actually a factor in my thoughts over Viera... if I change my Hyur to a Viera, will her Hempen Camise suddenly look like crap?

It is actually why that character is a Midlander Hyur...
