Can't access game after logging in.

When I log in and get past the One time code deal, after hitting play, I get a loading screen, and then an error pop up box with Japanese characters, and the following error message:

EZFRD64.DLL + 3654

ntdll.dll + 70D51

Only thing I added was a USB game controller since the last time I played, a few days ago, but not sure how the heck it would mess with the game or all. Hoping I wasn't hacked despite the One time code, or some ban I'm unaware of.

EZFRD64.dll is apparently related to your game controller and Google searches seem to suggest compatibility issues with that driver and a lot of different games.

Recommend trying to get the latest version of the USB controller driver (if they have a website?) otherwise unfortunately it looks like it's not compatible so you'd need to uninstall it to fix the problem.

Yeah, I simply unplugged the controller and it worked again. Oh well, the controller was for a Steam game anyway, always been a keyboarder with Mmos.

I googled so hard for this and all I found was DX11 problem blablabla....and you are the answer.


A so simple thing fuc...ed me up that hard. I never played FFXIV with a controller but it was my Nintendo Gamecube Controller USB adapter. It was never before when it was connected to the PC.
