Most definitely wishful thinking on my part but please please please if this happens make a male version of LuLu's outfit as well.

Lovely idea but yeah dunno if they'd manage all the belts! I remember reading an interview or something where they said if you pay attention in game, you'll notice that most shots involving Lulu in cutscenes are from her waist up. It was very difficult for them to get that many polygons on screen at once. So they compensated by not showing all of her at once most of the time. xD

Would be instant buy, but don't see it happen ( sadly ) anytime soon .. if ever.
Would be nice, "I would love Aaron's", but that's only if the models in FF14 can even "fit" in the dress if ya know what I mean, Lulu was big lolol![]()
Maybe they'd do a Minfilia top and have it auto boob job us. @_@
Seriously though, they could make it go on smaller busts too. Look at the crafting leveling sets. (Patricians set etc.) That is a similar cut across the boobage and it works on smaller busts too.

After how Yuna's FFX dress turned out I'm not sure we should be asking for this...Yuna's felt like it wasn't created in ffxiv quality
Would there be a way to reduce the polys to make development and movement of the dress to clip less and make a functional glamour piece for any job class? I remembering reading somewhere that the development team had to cut Yuna's sleeves short because they would clip all over the place through everything. So would they just have to make the individual poly pieces that make up Lulu's belt into bigger pieces and if so, could they be made flexible so they wouldn't look weird and blocky while moving
For myself, I only found the sleeves lacking in quality, but only because I think they struggled to make them functional.
That's a really good idea on how to deal with the bust problem if Lulu's outfit were added to the game!
Funny about the auto bust thing with Minfillia's dress, my Auri alt's bust just about fits her size! XD

It's hard to say how much they can cut effectively while still being able to clearly convey that her skirt is covered in belts.
As you can see here, the webbing on her skirt in the low-res battle/overworld model and the webbing in the cutscene model is basically the same.
The more she spreads her "feet" apart though the worse the belts look and they will actually start clipping into the the black block that represent her legs, meaning that if she had legs that would clip the skirt constantly any time her needed to bend her knees. Keep in mind that when she's moving her feet apart to the extent where it stretches out the textures into looking bad, she's really nowhere near what we do in game. Lulu also never really moves her thighs much compared to what we would do because it would clip the belts. To illustrate this I unlocked rogue and took a screenshot in the closest dress I have (model-wise) with my moogle slippers on because they will clip absolutely everything and it makes it easy to see where my feet are.
IMO they could if they really tried but it would still be a nightmare to work in to FF XIV when there are dozens of other cameo costumes they could do that would work very well with our graphical limitations and diverse animation needs. Like Terra, Tifa, Garnet, Ashe, Fran, and Rinoa. Yuna was a pretty iffy choice herself and the finished product had a pretty mixed reception.
What if they develop Lulu's outfit the way they did the Far Eastern Matriarch's Dress? I noticed while playing as Dragoon with it glamoured that the edges where the feet would usually clip were lifted up slightly so the dress wouldn't clip through the foot gear. That could solve the foot clipping issue.
And I know next to nothing about how game developers create things in-game but what if instead of letting the polys for belts stretch down the middly buckles like they are in the pictures you should me, why not stretch out each of the outer edges of the belts so when a player character stretches their legs wide as you've shown above. If that doesn't work, could the buckles be treated as an entirely second piece; turning it into leg gear while the rest of the dress is the top gear? Unlike in FFX, FFXIV allows us to wear gear pieces instead of one whole garment stuck together like glue. This could relieve the stress of trying to make Lulu's dress as a whole glamour functional by breaking it down into two pieces: The Top Fur Coat Dress and the Belt Skirt! ^^
Also, if they the development team can't figure out to make the belts work if still, I'm okay if they give us just a few more belts in order for belts to work/look good in-game.
