    Suggested changes to Borderland Ruins (Secure)

    My problems with Borderland Ruins (Secure) has more to do with 24-man matches than 72-man. 72-man matches are fun but 24-man can be quite a slog. In order to make Borderland Ruins (Secure), I don't know, more interesting, I would suggest the following changes.

    1. Add incentives to queue for it. Exclusive glamour and/or a mount. Seize and Shatter has it. Why can't Secure?
    2. Add a 4th base that spawns randomly around the map similar to Seize. This 4th base is only active for a limited time before it despawns and appear somewhere else. The places this 4th base can spawn at should be closer to the center and not in the corners where the 3 other bases are when you have a 72-man match going. (24-man matches only)
    3. Have the small drones spawn all over the map and not just at the center. The big node only spawn at center, that should remain the same.
    4. Reduce the time limit to the same as Seize and Shatter.

    Feel free to add more suggestions.

    Its not. I just had secure over the weekend with 8 kills and 0 deaths. No high or fever.

    You're right. I thought they added it along with individual Adrenaline Rush gauges. Doesn't make any sense why they didn't while they were doing the whole PvP overhaul with 4.0.

    I was surprised as well. Also severely disappointed. Why homogenize pvp then leave something that is so sought after out. It's all about that fever.

    4.15 is supposed to be the Rival Wings patch but I'm hoping we get something Frontline related as well. Even if it's only adding High/Fever to Secure.

    Having gotten the chance to play some more Secure since 4.15, there are some more changes that I would suggest.

    These changes are only regarding 24-man Secure.

    - Increase the amount of points you get from claiming a base from 10 to 15.
    - Decrease the amount of points you get from the interceptor node from 300 to 200.
    - Increase the amount of points you get from holding a base for each tick from 1 to 2.
    - Lose points when players gets K.Oed

    Adding 48 man mode back and removing 24 man would do the trick imo, both 48 and 72 are close enough and in a way i actually always liked 48 more than 72 when it came to secure. Even today i don't get it why they didn't do this as 24 man has almost nothing to do with capture&hold as you are missing more than half of the capture points(3 acting as "bases" that you still see in 24 and 4 neutral ones), its been so long that even i have forgotten almost all capture location names besides market, i think there was also ruins or was it temple?

    Now that i think this Secure really was a fun mode and it made nin's and their perma stealth pretty powerful as they were god tier when it came to ninja capping if enemy pushed too deep to next point, but then again WHM stacking and holy spamming was also really bad back then.

    Also what comes to high/fever i hate that buff as it marks you on the mini-map so GL hiding behind rocks and walls while trying to do a ambush or attempting to do ninja capping, that's why started to teleport back to base whenever i get one just so i can do fast job swap to get rid of it. Now if there was no icon/mark and just a buff then it would be good.

    Not sure how I feel about this. Basically similar to how Seize node spawn? I don't like the rng that sometimes most spawn in a place favoring 1 gc. Otoh secure has no hills, caves or stairs other than center.

    I've never had a full time Secure yet. iirc the drones is 4 minutes after the last one, and the big node is 1-2 mins after 2nd drones show. The rush after the big node (300 points) usually marks it at 10-15 mins. How do you get people not kill any drones???
