A humble request to Square Enix: please unlock Gilgamesh.

Before I get into the request, I would like to ask if you do not play on Gilgamesh, or it's not your home server - and you're on a smaller world, or a non-locked world... please practice empathy with what I'm about to post. Gilgamesh is very, very quiet right now - more than it's ever been. The server was congested at SB launch, but has tapered off significantly. The server is not dead, but there are the same old people sticking to their own circles and no new players to inject into any of these existing communities (that are shrinking), so people are just leaving to go to somewhere that has more activity / new players.

I've been on Gilgamesh for 3+ years, and I've never seen the server in this state before. I haven't seen a new player in months. This really makes the server feel really dead. Not having any new players means that almost all leveling zones are completely empty, no one doing FATEs, no one doing MSQ, nothing. The only active zones in the game are Rhalgr's Reach and Limsa. Everywhere else is a ghost town. Here are a few examples of Kugane and New Gridania at night on reset day, the day that we'd be the most active usually: (https://imgur.com/a/E72Vq).

Players that were a big part of the Gilgamesh community (active players that never unsubbed during downtime, or take breaks) are leaving the server to go to other servers that are ironically, more active - Leviathan, Cactuar, and Sargatanas to name a few. Based on recent census numbers (https://i.imgur.com/nCXiA9Q.png) and (https://redd.it/73lepv) - Gilgamesh has a population lower than 5 other NA servers at the moment, only one of which is locked.

For the health of our server, please unlock Gilgamesh.
