I've been in Gilgamesh since I first joined a year and half or so, ago. And to be honest, I don't feel like Gilga was ever a really big busy, bustling server. I rarely saw anyone out in the field, doing fates/quests/ect. It's always felt like a barren server until you went to Idyllshire(HW)/Rhalgr's reach which I'm sure is to be expected of most servers. And we're kind of in a content lull because...tbh thats just how it is. Everyone scrambles to clear everything in the first couple of days and then they have nothing to do after they complete everything except complain how the game is so empty and has nothing to do.
I feel like opening it back up is a good idea but I don't really feel like it's dying, i just feel like it's more.... just sort of wandering, looking for a new identity, which, just isn't going to happen. Now that cross world PF raiding is a thing I just don't think there's any thing in gilga that will set it apart from anywhere else?
I don't think I'd mind much if it stayed closed though, but eh.
