Rant about Shinryu Farm/Clear parties

So, are people stupid or what? all farm parties always wants minimum ilv 330+ but you can easily skip second Aerial blast with normal 320 comps. (just don't die)

I only have tanks on lv 330+ and I want to farm weapons for my melee dps and I simply can't, because they aren't in this ridicoulous minimum ilv.

Yeah, I've saw that before in ARR and HW but never in this scale. You need almost the minimum ilv of the weapon that drops to farm (or even clear/progress) the content.

Im tired to run this battle as tank. And please don't give me obvious answeers like "Do with your friends". This comunity is getting so toxic.

Honestly, in my experience, the groups that set high ilvl requirements can’t seem to make it past the first few phases most of the time. :9 iLvl means nothing if you don’t know how to play you job or do mechanics correctly. That being said, what Moonfish said holds true: form your own without an ilvl requirement, or with i320 (minimum requirement).

330/340 gear pretty much rains from the sky at this point. No lockouts on Omega (correction, N Omega only drops 320. My apologies), Creation gear has been available forever, Rabanastre drops 330 and has upgrade tokens, V1S/V2s are extremely puggable.

330 ilvl isn't some impossible requirement. If anything at this point I would consider it a bare minimum on any job you've put a little effort into.

If OP wants to farm Shinryu on his 320 alt, maybe he should make a PF for 320 alts instead of getting mad about people playing with others of a similar ilvl to their own.

Omega Normal drops 320 gear, not 330.

Players are allowed to set any requirements they like for their group. Even if it's as ridiculous as "catgirls only" it's still their right. If you don't like it make your own group with requirements you want. Nothing is stopping you but yourself.

It is ridiculous, period.

The only reason I don't make PF on my own is because the time it takes to fill up as a dps job (as a tank I don't mind). It has nothing to do with the ilv. From my point of view, people just want to be carried by high ilv on those farm parties nstead of skill. They want a run where tey can die 2~3 times and still get the kill. And you sound like one of those people, congratulation. Remember me to never join your trap party. (Oh, you are from gilgamesh, I'm safe)

Also, I have V1S~V4S on farm, like Ayer said, I'm talking about alts.

Omega Normal drops 320 gear, not 330.
