For all these months I have been tenaciously hanging on to the dream that someday a jump feature might be added. I would take breaks between patches and log in right after the following patch, hoping that I might hit my space bar and leap into the sky with joy. I see clearly now that these were empty promises.

You need to watch the last live letter where it shows them working on adding it.

There is a developmental build of all the jump animations.

It's not a priority but they'll eventually add it -- They have a lot more important stuff to work on for now.

Adding jump is actually massive undertaking. Not only it is the animations if the map is not designed for that axis... the world has to be redone to prevent ppl from going places they are not suppose to.

They have shown they are working on it, people just need to be patient.

i guess he didn't bother to watch the actual video demonstration of jumping (as unnecessary as i personally think it is) in the last live letter.

if i was so passionate about a topic that it decides if a leave or stay i would at least check for news on it instead of accusing empty promises... just sayin
