Achievement point idea

One idea which I thought would be nice with the new achievement tokens would be to be able to buy some of the achievement rewards with them. What I envision with that would be to pick up minions, mounts, etc that are linked to specific achievements with points instead. If you later completed the achievement it could give you some or all of the points back if it detected you already had that reward. This would give people alternative ways to get some of the rewards that are tied to things they don't like doing.

Gotta say I'm really disappointed in the achievement point system as is... there is nothing to buy currently unless I want a double of an item I already have....

ya its dumb, I've 260 of those tokens and cant spend them on anything...

I know they have alot they're probably working on for next patch I just hope new rewards are one of them...

I hope this never happens. You're supposed to have certain awards because you've achieved something, and your tangible award, be it a title, minion or mount, are proof of that. You shouldn't be able to obtain that unless you actually ran the relevant content. Then we have things like the tank mount achievements that were put in place with the specific purpose of encouraging people to play tanks more (and I'm one of the proofs it's working cuz I want that damned armored bear and I never thought I'd ever be tanking this much). They have no reason to give you alternate ways of getting those awards when some of those achievements were put there to force you to play the game a certain way to begin with.
