Let us enter the Diadem solo. Add Crystals & Clusters to its rewards.

Many of us can relate to running out of crystalline materials.

At Lv20 Wards boost our gathering efficiency. At Lv68 Bountiful II arrives, a seeming 0~20% upgrade. Factoring in the extra time it takes to use this skill per swing instead of per gathering node, however, we realize that BII is not an upgrade. How frustrating, that a Lv20 bot could gather as fast as a Lv70 person.

The solution to this was the Diadem, rewarding 200-800 materials per entry (45-60 minutes of gathering).

The Diadem is dead now. I cannot enter from Foundation after hours of Duty Finder matchmaking during peak times. Players consequently see crystals as "bot-fodder." This system encourages and strengthens the RMT industry.


And so I write.

Please let us to enter the Diadem solo; add Crystals/Clusters to the rewards list. You will bring relief to players and severely injure the RMT industry.

Sounds good, two-fold increase participation in Diadem while also hurting RMT.

Let us enter the Matron mission solo from both Ishgard and FC workshop (even workshop needs minimum 2 ppl atm).

If they could also update the pool of items we can get from Diadem lockboxes to include some new stuff that would be nice too.

This game has several systems that were well-designed in 2.0 and 3.0 and it's a shame to see time lay them by the wayside when we just need them to be relevant for 4.0 content! Although good gear has very little relevance after its time, adding new items (gear/mats/VI materia) to lockboxes would completely remedy this.

The crafters I know are so wealthy that they just buy their shards. If the Diadem started rewarding crystals and clusters, it would be booming with life with crafters/gatherers of all levels. Then we wouldn't need to try so hard wasting resources on game-play bandages just to keep players happy and RMT fools at bay. Better rewards would encourage players to get involved (instead of buying "bot fodder") and those RMT fools would be the ones at the wayside.

I have access to a FC airship. Diadem is available. But I can't queue...why? BECAUSE FOR SOME REASON WE HAVE TO USE THE BUDDY SYSTEM WHEN ALL WE WANT TO DO IS GO GET SOME DARKSTEEL ORE. Why do I have to get another player with me in party just to go and gather level 50 mats in the Diadem. They don't even have to stay with me once I'm in - they can freely leave and I can then go on gathering by myself. But I can't enter by myself? This is a completely pointless restriction.

OK maybe this the place to ask , but I have not been able to enter the diadem solo in ishgard despite what every thing I have read including the duty log itself. Did they remove that ability after 3.55b or am I just stupid lol

You can enter solo (into matchmaking and wait for 7 other people) via Ishgard if you meet the minimum item level requirement and have a fuel voucher.

damn so no actual solo since no one on my server seems to do diadem any more. Oh well I can dual box it pretty easy but it takes the whole time. Had read you can solo it much faster to access the unspoiled nodes. thanks for the quick answer =^.^=

Please make it solo queue or unsync.

You can enter solo (into matchmaking and wait for 7 other people) via Ishgard if you meet the minimum item level requirement and have a fuel voucher.

If you're waiting for matchmaking then it's not going in solo. That would be queueing solo and waiting for matchmaking that may never end. Going in solo would be being able to skip matchmaking and be able to start the instance by yourself.
