Patch 4.1: Achievement Certificates and Cascadier Uniform Voucher

First of all, I'd like to preface this post with praise. I played for a approximately two months around a year ago, came back in May, and have had an incredible time. I fell in love. Stormblood and Patch 4.1 have brought a lot of terrific changes. With that said:

Veteran Rewards: Items you already own cannot be exchanged for. The possible problem with the Cascadier Uniform Voucher is that it allows this (for means of obtaining male and female I suppose). Reading the text on the Voucher, I had no idea what it was, and in a rush of excitement, spent 2 Certificates to get it. While I was still able to purchase everything available, with spare Certificates, it irks me that I have the Voucher sitting in my inventory. There should be a prompt, mentioning that this item is already in obtained and you're purchasing another.

Quite probably, but can you not use that to your advantage then? Just buy the opposite sex and store them all in your armoire?

Those vouchers at least for me is for stuff i already have.. So yep useless

If it's really a problem, you could contact support and request to use your one-time item restoration to return the items, I guess? Though it seems like a small thing to waste your one shot at getting something fixed on, it might be worth it if it really bugs you.

Personally, I'm more interested in whether or not they're ever going to add anything new to Jonathas' shop that wasn't previously a veteran's reward, since I've already got everything he's offering AND a ton of achievement points burning a hole in my pocket.

It ends up being a waste of 2 Certificates. The retort for this will likely be "it's just 2, you have plenty more achievements to work for" but those are now useless. Those are achievements I earned, I worked for.

Every other item prompts you, I can't recall the exact line of text but you're not allowed to purchase a second Veteran Reward if you already have it. That's my qualm with the Voucher.
I won't be using a Fantasia for the opposite sex, so getting the Male set isn't useful either.

I don't exactly understand your problem, but if it is the fact that you misspent your points, don't worry, soon enough you won't know what to do with them.

I have plenty of spare certificates after purchasing every item. I don't understand the responses here though... Of course I can obtain more, of course it's "only 2" but it's 2 that are wasted. I understand seeing it as not a big deal but these are certificates from achievements. This isn't me wasting 2 million on MB by mistake. This currency is not expendable. There may be a point along the line where the rewards grow in option and missing those 2 could mean not obtaining everything.
