I totally agree. The time it takes to craft an item is waaaaaayyy to long. Coupled with the amount of SP to get to the next level is mind numbing and very discouraging. I love the animations and graphics, but the quickest you can craft something once you actually get to it (not counting the prep screens) is at least four times (standard synthesis, not counting buffs, ie. Tender Touch etc). Usually its much more. This needs to be reduced to about 3-4 MAX.

The redundancy of screens you have to go through also needs to be reduced. Example: When you use an existing recipe you already have its need to be like the upgraded crafting leve screen. One screen to choose recipe and then load all the mats, select main/off hand tool and then your off crafting. you don't need a screen to chose the item once you have chosen the existing recipe.

Additionally, HQ is totally random it seems, it needs to come more in line with the degree of crafting level you are over the standard for the item.

Finally, WHY WHY, WHY are the base materials for certain items at a higher crafting level than the item they combine to make. Of all the tings wrong with the crafting system this is the most discouraging.
