Single Element Status Effects HUD is not working?

Hello. I'm trying to rearrange and config my HUD today and I found that the old Status Bar does not work for me. What am I doing wrong?

Here is my HUD layout and settings for the Status Effects bar.


But it does not show any status effect for me.


However, when I changed to Split mode and check the "Display Element" box, it shows up just fine. I read from devs blog that if we select Single Element mode, it should show the same way as before.

If anyone knows what goes wrong here, please help.

Mine was doing the same thing earlier. It went back to default when I logged out and back in but now it's the wrong size and won't adjust. It's really weird.

I had an issue today, where my buff/stances were showing at the top of the screen, but I had them set to be at the center of the screen with a size increasement. When I went to adjust the UI and place it back where it was before, I couldn't select them. The selectable square was placed at the center, but the buffs/stances were still at the top, without the UI rectangle to move it or re-size it.

It got fixed by itself a couple of hours later...

Oh wow seems like this part of the HUD system has a lot of bugs. ><;; Thanks for the feedback. Now I know at least I'm not alone in the struggle.

QA, a unknown concept for Square Enix

For me, not showing the status in any option. Not showing food, not showing FC bufs, nothing.
I play in PS4, changed de position of the elements in both layout (single and split), and no status for me.

Happened a couple times since patch for me on PC. I'm not sure what triggers it. Logging out definitely does fix it though... at least until it happens again.

Just an update: right now my issue solved itself. The old style (single element) status bar is working fine again.
