    QOL CHANGES FOR MELEES ROLE CLASS

    So where to BEGIN

    Invigorate:they should add aggro dump on it so sam will be less pain in ass to hold aggro caster got lucid dreaming why melee don't have that already.

    True North:150 sec to 60 or 90 sec #mnkwetdream

    if yall any advice add ideas or critics please post right here so we can make role classes better for melees!

    60-second True North sounds fantastic (then it aligns with Trick Attack, just in case)

    I'm back and forth on my idea of Invigorate acting as an agro dump. Melee classes are more sustained damage heavy than burst damage, so it would be nice if Diversion was just an agro dump rather than an agro mitigator while up. Then Invigorate can still be useful while learning a fight in case of death to regain TP.

    Also, make Crutch useful. Casters get Erase which does a small heal and removes a DOT, which is hands down a better skill than removing bind and heavy. I haven't found any encounter that I felt like I needed this skill.

    1 comes in mind is 24 raids with horse dude but erase look sick tho it good for melees.

    I grab it on Black Mage, because why the hell not, it's not like I have any other pressing skills I need. I also used to have it on Summoner before Sustain was brought back since it healed harder than Physick does.

    The main reason I like it is because it's dual purpose. It's a decent sized heal that adds a little utility if needed. It's been pretty good for A-Ranks, especially Oni Yumemi with his massive AOE frostbite.

    I use it periodically, depending on content and/or stubborn idiot of a healer that can't be bothered to slot Esuna (far too many of these in low level content nowadays that it drives me batty). It sucks but I'd rather at least try to clear something easy like Cutter's Cry for my mentor roulette than getting into an argument with some newbie healer that refuses advice.

    It also has some niche use in other more relevant content, such as the 2nd boss of Royal City when a tank gets hit with extreme edge.

    I'm a fan of adding an aggro cut to Invigorate, Ranged Physical and casters both have to aggro management skills in the cross role pool, there's no reason Melee shouldn't. Doubly so when two of the 3 highestest aggro Jobs are Melee.

    It's not our fault so many extremely important spells are in role instead of built into our job.
    Lucifer dreaming is mandatory, Largesse is mandatory, protect is mandatory, Swiftcast is mandatory. The last slot goes between Surecast which has been seeing frequent use lately, and Cleric Stance.

    Besides, as far as I recall, Erase only effects dots? Who cares. I can't think of a persisting dot in this game that can't be completely ignored with a Regen.
