    Which is natural - MMOs are built to make their players repeat the content, if everyone did it just once and was done, the multiplayer aspect would quickly die. But since players are ill inclined to mindlessly repeat content on their own, they bait people with a slew of rewards to do it instead, primarily progression (stats/levels/Merit points/whatever) and vanity (Glamour/Mounts/Minions). And that reward needs to take several runs on average to attain in order to facilitate ample repetition. The way to facilitate that in turn is gating it behind RNG or token grinds - the prior systems allow people instant gratification at the expense of statistical outliers on the other end and screw every sort of reward/effort ratio, the latter make the actual length of the intended grind apparent, sometimes feel overwhelming as a result but guarantee a fixed reward/effort ratio.

    Personally, I vastly prefer token systems over RNG. But that might just be because I tend to be the one suffering from it >_>

    Token system would be nice for 24-man, but I fear they wouldn't change it because then people will only run once a week. At least as it is you try to run a few times before giving up and grabbing something random.

    Let's make it 3 or 5 tokens then. That way players will GLADLY do their 3/5 runs a week because they know they'll have the armor they want from it.

    It seems that these days Orchestrion Rolls are more important than Armor.
    Which is very useful if you don't own a House or a Apartment.
    And this "oh so rare" shard which you can obtain in different ways.
    As already mentioned. We've got a bunch of new Classes and therefore a lot more Armor. Does that bother SE? Are they even aware of that?
    Since the Housing Desaster I don't believe that SE knows what's going on in their own game. Or worse, they just don't care till the Community bursts out in Rage.
    I for one do not participate in that lemming-like behavior. I'll do the raid once in a week. When we have killed the last boss and there is no loot for my Class, I leave, even without rolling on one of these damn things and do not enter the Raid till the next week.
    I'm disgusted by that awful RNG in this game.

    I so much agree with this... Orchestrion Rolls are everywhere... Less work for them to imagine rewards for events, less armor for us so players do the same silly content again and again... Orchestrion Rolls are the new easy option for devs. And not to mention that in the raid, we don't have any chest with minion or item to craft something this time...

    It's kind of annoying everyone just hand waving this with "It's RNG deal with it". Yes, we're all collectively aware that the system is based on RNG, thank you Sherlock's! But does that at all mean the system itself is good or perfect? No. The system doesn't have to exclusively work this way.

    For leveling dungeon we get 100% chance of a armor piece of our class at the end of the dungeon. But why does it stop at 70 dungeons? It's gear which is an upgrade to what you'll initially get at 70 yes, but at the same time is so quickly and easily replaced it shouldn't even be an issue with getting a 100% chance at a piece of it by the end of the dungeon. You could argue that less people would be playing it and yeah that's somewhat fair, but it's negated by the fact that it becomes part of the expert roulette itself. since every dungeon is a part of every single roulette it's kind of a moot point that it's played less because it will always be available to party for, just look at the main story roulette.

    70 dungeon gear is basically glorified leveling gear imo. it has no place in any BIS and will be upgraded and replaced rapidly even by casual players and for that reason I think it exists mainly for glamour purposes. So why not just reduce the grind a little by allowing people to get the full set within at least 10 runs?
