N° of Houses doesn't reflect the N° of Players - Solution #Hoshi-P

Hi everyone and Yoshida-san,

I would like to propose vary solutions to solve this issue.

Housing is a content of this game, we cannot PAY a game and have NO guaranteed access to all the features that it offers.

Some days ago, 1st day of 4.1 patch, I was hoping to buy a home, just to play a content of this game which is and will remain inaccessible to many players whose numbers would only increase day by day.

There are so many problems: the numbers of available plots, the purchasing process and how houses are shared..but this is just the tip of the iceberg.

1) Problem of illegal resale:
I’m sure that two players have bought several plots with the same account to resell to others, because they are famous in the server where I play.
In the first 5 minutes of the 4.1 patch, one of them has bought two plots with 2 different characters of the same account (I think that he used some log-in hacks).
I would like to advise the following solution to avoid the house resale between players.

Solution:
Each FFXIV account can buy only one house, so the reselling of plots by players will be drastically reduced and meantime the chance to buy a house from other players will be considerably increase.
Of course, there are players who want to buy houses with different characters to enjoy with each of them.
To resolve this case, I propose that each characters of the same account can sharing the same house (the character in sharing will not count as tenant; to have the free access into the house, the sharing characters, must have unlocked the residential areas).

2) House Quantity Problem:
Considering that the apartments are not a complete solution, as they don't permit a full access to all the features of a house with garden, and adding other wards helps but don't change the general situation, i would like to recommend a solution based on the instance system of private rooms.

Solution:
The private room system offers for each player a room with the access from the same place.
So I would like to create an area (called small neighborhood) where the access to the neighborhood and the plot purchase can be possible with talking to an NPC located in the various residential areas.
The neighborhoods (as you can see from the picture) will be small areas where there will be some architectural details (depending on the residential area where neighborhoods is located) and some houses.
If a number of neighborhoods will be implemented in each ward and sub ward, even without having the necessity to increase the number of them, it will be possible to meet the recent increase of account registrations and satisfy more users who want to enjoy in houses content.



3) Problem of plot purchase:
In first it will be better if the wards for FC Houses and Single player Houses will be different, this change simplify the plot acquisition for all.
In order to prevent the mass log-in of the players immediately after the releasing of new plots and to give everyone more opportunity to buy a house, I advise the purchase permit of the houses only a few hours after the release of the patch.
Finally make possible the purchase permit by interacting with a NPC or a teleport crystal in the main city (Gridania, Ul'dah, Limsa Lominsa and Kugane).
So each player will have more chances of buying a house and must not have to wait for different loading times that depend on console/PC and internet connection.

These are my proposals, I hope they will be heard by Yoshida-san and his Team.

However, I would like to thank very much the work that Yoshida-san and his Team are doing for FFXIV.
