That pattern sounds like the result of a mechanics failure. For that particular fight, it would most likely be from not moving the boss out of the poison pools. (That's primarily the tank's job, but anyone who gets targeted with the poison also needs to help keep it confined to the side so that there's a clear spot available for the tank to move Aiatar to.)

If replacing the tank fixed the problem, that's further confirmation of where the problem was.

I've looked up a few tutorials on rotations for WHM but they all state different.
Brayflox is insane when it comes to poison damage which can stack up. So a healer will be on their toes getting those DoTs off.

As for the end boss, the tank's job is to keep the named AWAY from the poison pools it spits out, as the pools HEAL the named if it stands too close. There is a message you receive if the named is being healed by the pools. So more than likely the tank got kicked because they weren't moving the named away, making the fight longer and harder.

From what I've read, I think you did nothing wrong. Healing can be stressful, but I will give my advice on how I play.

    1. Click on the TANK in your party window and hit SHIFT+F. This will set them us as a FOCUS TARGET. That way, in case you need to heal someone else or if you want to help do a bit of DPS, you can still see, at a glance, the tank's HP.

    2. REGEN! I like to cast Regen on the Tank and any melee DPS as they fight, as the healing ticks it does can give me a bit of relief in case my Cure/Cure II is a bit slow.

    3. Don't be afraid to speak up if you feel the party is going too fast, or pulls are too large. If the party acts rude to you, don't be afraid to leave the Duty. There is nothing that says you must get stressed or harassed if you just want to play.

    4. DPS when you can but DON'T feel forced to do it. I try to throw an Aero out when I can, but if the Tank is getting pummeled (mainly I can tell if I put out a Cure and his health goes down the amount I just cured) then just focus on healing until it looks safe. There seems to be some 'thing' going around that says Healers MUST DPS in a party. I don't get it. But if the mobs are plainly easy, sure. Throw out Aeros and Stone as you can, but don't plainly focus on it.

    5. And lastly, keep up with your gear. Sure, you get gear through quests, but there are NPCs in the major cities that sell some basic armor and weapons at levels 1-49. Same when it comes to Jewelry. There are many guides and suggestions out there in the Interwebz, but get what feels right for you. Some swear by Spell Speed, while others by Piety and Mind.

    Hope that helps!

Wipes are actually good in some ways . I wiped on last boss of a dungeon and thought "Oh no this is too hard " but next attempt was successful and I got a nice warm fuzzy winning feeling .
If its too easy then it becomes boring .

I actually heal better when Ive had a few glasses of wine because then I dont panic as much .

But once you run same dungeon a few times you get more comfortable and the panic doesnt happen as often .
