Adding extra inventory tabs

This request stems from the German Community rep asking her forum-users something on behalf of the devs.

Ich habe mit den Devs gesprochen und sie fragten mich ob es in Ordnung für euch wäre, wenn ihr mehr Kategorien/Reiter/Tabs (wie auch immer ihr es nennen möchtet) bekommt, um alles übersichtlicher zu gestalten, sich diese Kategorien aber den gesamten Umfang des Inventars teilen würden (Momentan die 200 Slots) ?

Essentially, the devs want to know if it would be ok to implement the extra tabs in the inventory (ie: tab for gear, tab for materia etc), although this would still be run with 200 item solts shared between all tabs.

Post here if you think this is a good idea. Chances are our own reps are watching for the feedback!


EDIT: Just a heads-up. Please avoid positing in English in the German forums - some people do this and the regulars can get a little upset about it (it's a cultural thing). Hitting "like" on a post is generally enough. Unless of course you are proficient in German and want to compose something in the language yourself.

I definitely support this! Although it'd be a little nicer if materia didn't count towards the 200 item count, just like crystals :/

YES! I can't tell you how many times I accidentally NPC'd gear because it was in the same tab as all my junk :S

I also like this idea. Going trough a list of 100+ items is no fun. And while sorting helps, a category view (tabs,etc..) would be really nice.

I complete support this motion. When you bag starts getting full searching through 200 items can be quite tedious. Maybe they could implement the following:

Materia Tab
Material Tab (Crafting Stuff)
Equipment Tab
Achievement Tab (For gear acquired via an achivement)

If meteria was was it's own inventory amount... There would be no need for 200 slots.
