    physical memory vs virtual memory, to play ffxiv on ps3

    I am not an expert into computer, but couldn't ps3 version just use virtual memories? if there isn't enough memories for the game?

    Anyone know the answer ? i am curious.

    virtual memory = temporary memory (usually created from harddisk space) they're not as fast as physical memory at all

    but I think PS3 can run this game at least 65-75% quality compare to PC

    yes but it is a solution, better then delay. the problem was ps3 having only 512mb memory while even pc need 2 gb minimun or was it 4 ?
