Ixion didn't give me any tokens, even though I was present AND actively DPSing

Details:
I was present for the entirety of the fight, and actively contributing with DPS until the kill. I only stopped twice to ask for an invite. At around 50% of Ixion's hp I was able to get some people that were also groupless, so from that point on, I had a party.
Having this in mind, I assumed there was a possibility I would not get the full 6 tokens from a gold rating, but not only I didn't get 6, I got none at all.
I contacted in-game support over this, they said I had found an aspect of the game that is not working as intended that couldn't be solved in-game, and redirected me here.

What rating did you get on the FATE? Bronze rating does not give you any horns, and depending on how many people were participating in the fight, you may have to be in a full party throough most of the fight to even have a chance to get silver.

Once Ixion died, I instantly focused on my inventory. I didn't pay attention to the rating.

Nope, not even close to full. But even if it was, it wouldn't be an issue because I already had 6 tokens beforehand, so the new ones would just be added to those. Which is part of the reason as to why I brought the issue, since I obtained those first 6 in similar conditions as this time. Couldn't get anyone to invite me - check. Was only able to find people that I could invite at around the middle of the fight - check. The only difference from then to now is that the other time, I was actually able to fill in a full party. That's also why I wasn't expecting the full 6 this time. But getting NONE doesn't make any sense, since other than that, the conditions of how things happened were so similar.

Did you dps a lot after joining said group?

As others have stated, just completing the FATE is not enough to get horns.

I dps'd just about the same after I got people in the group. I only ever stopped to ask for invites, and after that, to invite people myself, which are really quick tasks.

If anything, I spent more time without dpsing on the time I got the full 6 tokens. Since I was actually clicking random people on the map and sending invites to every character around me.
This time I did it through chat right-click.

I havent done fates for years but as far as i know Being solo for half of it and party the rest shouldn't matter. The fate reward is or was based on how much enmity you generate which isn't reset when you join a party.

This is why abilities like provoke never work in fates cos it meant any class could come in at the last second toss a cross classed provoke and bam instant gold contribution.

Was also why things like quellong strike often resulted In a lower contribution. Because they reduced enmity.

I know it's been tweaked here and there but I think the primary factor is still emnity
