Recently my girlfriend and I started playing FFXIV again (both our accounts are quite old, we played a lot before) and had only the original FFXIV. We've recently hit level 50 and wanted to upgrade our accounts to be able to play the expansions.

We are living in Canada at the moment, my account was originally North American so I had no issue upgrading the account. My girlfriend originally lived in Australia on the other hand and when the account was originally created it had to be created under the EU/Other regions for some reason. In any event, she had originally purchased an NA key and it did not work (something I don't understand in the first place since everyone plays on the same servers regardless of region, but that's beside the point) once we figured out why that was we were able to get a refund so that's okay.

Since getting the refund for the NA key, and being told that we needed an EU/other regions key we have tried going back to the store to purchase a key for this region but can't seem to complete this due to the addresses that show up when going through the purchase process. Not only does Canada not show up as a country in the list when trying to make the purchase (which is where we are living) neither does Australia nor England (which, although annoying that we'd have to work around this way, she had family addresses in each). People move to different countries and continents sometimes, and then no longer have addresses that match their 'account region', what are you supposed to do in these situations? Any assistance would definitely be appreciated, thanks in advance.
