The lure of a free house, fully stocked chest with items and money brings out the vileness in some people. I'm so sorry you had to go through that. My friends and I went through a similar situation with a former friend, so I can understand fully. We knew the gm's couldn't do anything to help us. All we could do was accept it and go about our way...maybe after telling lots of others close to them what said ex friend did so those that knew them would know they're a snake and couldn't be trusted at all. Live and learn I guess. The only person you can trust is you sadly. Another reason why I wished the whole shared housing thing would go away and instanced single player housing would take over in its stead.

Does his girlfriend know?

I've been betrayed horribly on this game by one of my recruits about 2 years ago now. Still makes me angry to this day.
I understand your frustration and upset, it's really unfortunate your "friend" thought that plot more valuable than your friendship. Unfortunately, your trust is what allowed him access to all he needed to screw you over and there's not much a GM can do to fix that.
You may be able to get the FC chest money back but if you allowed the rank t this person to adjust your FC funds, you may not be entitled to that gill back either.
I'm seeing a couple of core issues here that don't parallel real life too well which only serves to amplify this kind of drama.
First, outside of the game, if someone wrongs you, you can call them out by name and alert others to who they are and what they did. Of course, unless you back this up with good evidence and reasons, you can bet it can backfire on you and ruin your reputation instead. Here? Expect to get banned, good evidence and reason or not.
Second, in real groups, people granted powers usually can't use them at will without consequences. For example, a CEO of a company likely has all sorts of powers to spend money and whatnot. What do you think would happen if they decide to blow a bunch of the company's money in a casino? That money might be gone, but you can bet that ex-CEO faced consequences (loss of job, assets, possibly jail time). Here? We apparently lack any form of real review/consequences to encourage people with powers to not abuse them.
thanks everyone for your replies I was happy reading all. I learned my lesson and It was my mistake. I really didn't want to share this but GM insisted that I write here and said if I have a way to solve it I should write it down. I liked the Token solution from one of you guys and wish you all great adventures
And from now on don't give anyone the rights to get into your company chest besides yourself.thanks everyone for your replies I was happy reading all. I learned my lesson and It was my mistake. I won't be so hard on you b/c it really is a terrible situation. But sadly they aren't going to help you b/c you trusted him and gave him the power to take gil out and move the house. You gave him the keys to the kingdom. Take this as a lesson learned. What you should've done is count your blessings he did do what you asked him to do when the servers came back on. Right then though, you should've taken his powers away. Even if you did trust him, you can sleep well at night knowing he couldn't do what he did. Now you know how the housing market works. It's cut throat. Only trust yourself when it comes to housing.
