One last smn change

I’m so happy with the changes to Smn. The whole thing feels really smooth and everything just falls together easily. Our two egi have utility Garuda has the mag debuff and ifrit has radiant shield. So to get to my point Titan egi needs a change. I say up his dps a bit to match with the other two and change earthen shield to be a party buff, we don’t need a tank egi get rid of his enmity generation. That’s my opinion.

I do think the changes are more fluent as well. I still have some issues with Bahamut and aetherflow but I'm figuring we'll see something in the future. I doubt you'll see much change to Titan honestly. If it ever got a damage buff it wouldn't be by much. I don't know that Titan will ever have more than a niche sort of use. For example, used it before in Deltascape 4.0 when the dragon add lacked a tank (who left the party). I've tanked a whole dungeon before when the tank left and we never got a replacement, but boy it's slow. I think mostly it'll always be a solo use thing and you won't see much change there. Then if we are lucky, one day we may get another egi such as Ramuh egi (cough cough) with another specialty for group use. That's just speculation though.

Titan is a "tank" type pet, so is inherently only useful when you don't have a real tank. They aren't going to change him.

The Devs have said they will give us Egi-glamour options instead of new Egis. They've been working on that for an awfully long time and recently gave us the Carbuncle Egi glamours. We may eventually see Ramuh or other options as Egi glamours, but they will not be new pets with unique abilities.

Which I think is incredibly lazy. How about a unique system that is revolved around summoning, instead of these poorly detailed “egis” and DoT focussing system.
The iconic FF summoner has been stomped on in FFXIV. It’s not worth playing unless you have no clue on what the FF summoner is supposed to entail.

well honestly I just replied cause your profil pic reminds me of Rachel Amber... especially the blue earring kinda fits... im looking for a fitting one for my BtS twink but sadly I haven't found a fitting one for war/magic deciples. Titan can put a hots heal to the main character ? I mean, at least we would have some alternative to physics and its ridiculous heal power . Oh wait I forgot the chocobo... But mine never leave the park lol

The egi vanity is such awful...why I would use a carbuncle with a stupid color than Titan or garuda or ifrit ? They can put all the color of the world...it still useless except if you like carbuncle

Some important points that need to be addressed asap:

- make some skill reset aetherflow cd out of battle, like hide for ninjas ninjutsus, making people wait after wipes is annoying, and i am the one making them wait...
- Bahamut's loneliness issue... just make him a stationary thing and if needed increase his absurd range even more.
- make wyrmwave an auto attack, not a "proc" on our moves, having to use addle with him is just stupid. make it slower but stronger if needed.

right now these are the biggest issues i can find with the current smn, and the ones they shoudnt have too much issues addressing... now.. things regarding egis and how they work.. i think we will only see a relevant change on 5.0, and we will NEED to be VERY VOCAL about this for it to have a chance to happen... else they will just half ass it and keep they in exactly the same like it happened. Either making them more relevant, more useful, temporary, allow for more than 1 pet or whatever, something needs to be improved on the main egis/summoning pets mechanics.

I agree. They should just make Titan-Egi a support-type pet instead.

may i suggest simalar use to bahamut to other egi think everytime the prime use they with egi where every time you use the they enkindle they add even flame for ifrit or feather for garuda or a stone for titan this way you temper summon a lessor power version of the prime to service the summoner
