Like World of Warcraft or I hear Guild Wars 2 has it? So each time you pick up a piece of gear it saves the appearance in the book. Then you can toss the gear but still glamour with it from the book, could still use glamour prisms to do so. Save so much inventory space.
I prefer the method used by DC Universe Online where they have 2 pages of gear. One for stats and the other for glamour. This would be way better than the glamour prisms, still the glamour book is definitely needed. DCUO does have that system where once you unlock it, the glamour is yours and you can scrap the item.

LotRO also functions like that, and it has been for a very long time. When WoW implemented glamour (transmogrifications), I was PISSED that it wasn't made like this.
The main point of this system is that if done tat way, YOU DON'T HAVE TO RE-GLAMOUR EVERY NEW PIECE OF GEAR YOU GET.

I think another way they could do this would be to let you set your characters appearance to a button press: you register the appearance you want and it doesn't change when you equip newer gear. Kinda the way old RPGs did it, the character model never changed but the gear did.

Account bound achievements/mounts/minions (could be an optional thing if people want characters to have theirs separate for some reason)
Ability to actually share your private house with alts on the same server

Talking to NPCS and staying mounted.
    Search box for minions/mounts.
    Debuff/Buff whitelist/blacklist filtering.
Tracking achievement progress in duty list.
Being able to move the messages that appear at the center of the screen somewhere else. (The ones that sometimes pop up in the middle of a fight that notifies you what's going on with the black background/Retainer has returned from a venture!).
Being able to add short notes to players on friend list/black list.

Role action presets (If they're going to keep them as they are in the future)

    Another Gil sink.

A quick idea off the top of my head is to be able to exchange gil for mogstation currency, but not vice versa.

The exchange rate would have to be horrendously one-sided in favor of Mogstation to keep players from simply buying out everything they want in one go. I do like the idea a lot though

I honestly don't see why- the mogstation is a terrible thing in a p2p game anyway. At least it will make the content available for everyone fairly, as it should be since the content is paid for with subs anyway.

As long as it's not Pay to Win items I see nothing wrong with having optional purchasable items outside the game itself. If the prices are reasonable and people are willing to pay for it, I say go for it. The key word is optional, if the content was available fairly to everyone then they might as well just give it to you in game. For some that would just be a bother of more inventory space taken. If it was an optional quest or something like that, then that would be a fair distribution for those who want and those who don't.
