    4.1 Patch Notes Show Us an Unfortunate Truth about the Dev Team

    Changes to dragoon make no sense. They are trying to make a brainless class easier to play.
    Lack of monk changes, despite thread after thread after thread FOR 2 YEARS shows they either aren't reading the forums (which would mean they are blatantly lying to us) or don't give a fuck what we think.
    Lack of useful summoner changes show they are more prone to knee-jerk reactions than actual thoughtful adjustments. They nerf Ruin 3 damage and make a spell consolidation that NOBODY asked for, ignoring the many fundamental problems with 4.X summoner that EVERYONE has been repeating (attunement/aetherflow consolidation problem, heavy death punishment, flawed Bahamut AI, etc)
    Warrior Shake It Off change shows the are willing and able to make complete and total reworks for abilities, EVEN ONES THEY'VE JUST RELEASED, so there's nothing preventing them from fixing monk and summoner.

    They spend more time working on the trials and raids, which would be fine.

    How is one expected to enjoy a good movie if their seat is made out of thorns?
    How is one expected to enjoy these trials and raids if the class they want to play is poorly designed and not enjoyable to play?

    The Devs don't care about the players anymore. They only care about their internal ideals about the game. This is how a multiplayer game kills itself.

    Honestly, I'm moderately offended by the Shake it off change, but I'm apparently the only one, because I liked being able to instantly remove a debuff instead of waiting for a healer to do it (funny how they suddenly became more proactive about that the moment that it stopped being important IE berserk).

    The shield is not something I want. Unlike Divine Veil, I'm actively sacrificing my cooldowns to buff the party, and savage content ATM doesn't really give me that leeway.

    Lack of direction, and Identities for Healers, Monk, Drk, Mch, Smn.

    Does everything need to be nerfed or buffed? No but seriously all they have seriously learned to do is copy/paste/add/subtract and say its fixed. We are basically in the same meta as 3.x with the only exception being Paladin is in it now..
    Real balance... can't wait to see how the new 5.0 jobs are handled. We still don't have a Caster Comp its just physical this and that bleh.

    Would be great if the shield was changed to 4% base, and STILL have the ability to remove debuffs, and every debuff removed also counts towards the 4% bonus on the shield.
    Then WAR would be darn near perfect.

    Given that examples are not a demonstration, it still gives you an idea.

    The same about drg : when you just read it you think buff, but it's actually a -1% with the change on Heavy, only the change on eyes gives more Nastronds and turn it into a +1 or 2%

    Alas no.

    There were 5 major problems and some minors. They adressed two of the minors (Devotion and Sustain) and two of the majors (MP dump, Ruin system) and very partly one (death) but left the other two alltogether untouched (lockouts, Bahamut IA).

    In short : SMN will be less punitive, but still won't "flow" as it used to in HS
