it's still happening

I do know me and my brother used to have the same kind of issue, we bought a new router and shazam problem solved. FFXIV has terrible packet retention so if you have a cheap or old router having multiple instances of XIV running can overload the routers capacity to properly send packets.

At least in my experience.

Still wish the game had better packet retention though...
