Getting onto the roof of Large Shirogane Castle Walls

Just putting this here for anyone who might be interested:

Warp machine formed using 2x Lattice Planter, 1x Stump Stool & 1x Savage Arc of Triumph.

The basic idea is to form a "wall" with the planters, then place the stump by the corner and clip it with the arc. Then sit on the stump and jump from the sitting position.

The biggest difference for setting this up as compared to the other housing skin is where there's only 2 spot up to the roof (due to the height), and that's at the front yard by the front pillars of the balcony. Shirogane castle wall also require a whole lot of precision to setup from what I observed. Personally I wouldn't place it out on the yard since it stand out like a sore thumb, but I figure there are players who wouldn't mind. Good luck (to those interested) setting up your own warp machine! :3

update: cheers to Vi M' for coming up with the idea of using the planters to form a wall for inconvenient housing skins like this one! XD

Update 2: someone found a way to set it up with 3 items! Also, it can be setup at the side of the house!

    Savage Arc of Triumph
    Brass Bench
    Dataqi Standard

Update 4: added a better picture for the Dataqi setup by Rex:

Update 3: added a mini-guide with bad MS Paint skills XD

    Basically it boils down to:
    1. Stump (chair) by a wall surface
    2. Arc clipping into stump (chair)
    3. Hilt of arc pointing torwards warp point

Just take note to check that you can still sit on the stump before attempting to clip the arc into it. If you can't, then try moving the stump around a little. Then perform sitting test again after clipping. The blade of the arc should form a straight line cutting through the stump into the warp point (bottom of roof).

After that it's just trial and error til you get it right. If setup correctly, all races (popotoes included) should be able to warp up to the roof simply by sitting down then jump while seated. No moving in any directions require. Good luck!

Just a quick question if you dont mind answering but are you able to change the fence or are you locked to the one which comes with the castle walls? I like the castle walls but hate the fence. :I

Like all housing skin, it's locked sadly. And to add on, you can only dye the roof tiles for the shirogane castle walls. Nothing else is dyeable.

As Soki said, it's locked. As an additional fyi though, this applied to all the housing glamours/skins/walls that come from the workshop. They're all or nothing so make sure if you're going for one of them you look at all the details they come with. If you have access to a workshop, mousing over the projects/sizes at the bubble will show you a preview.

Personnaly, we put our glitch behind the house (where we used to do the glitch before) and it works. We used a bench, the arc and 2 Dataqi standard.
The only difference is you have to jump only, and not move foward. Then you end in the middle of the building, and jump again to unlock yourself.

Any chance you could post some pictures of your setup please? I've seen some pictures of this, but have been unable to replicate it sadly

Can anyone explain or link somewhere with explanations about this. I am trying but I am getting no where. I think I lack the basic concept.

Just saw your post after the update, apparently it's possible to do it with only 1 Dataqi Standard, worth giving it a try.

The basic idea is to trap your character between a tight space such that when the player attempt to jump out of it, they will be force upwards onto the roof. The generic method is to use a chair with the CT arc.

I'll try again today with a bench maybe. I was trying with a stump cause I saw a lot of people mentioning that in other places (reddit). The issue I am having is that when I put it in the position it seems like I am trying to replicate, I can't get my character to interact with the seat anymore. He just sits on the ground and ignores it.

It's too close to other items then. Setting this up requires a high amount of precision, all I can say is trial and error. Good luck! >_<
