I main AST so healing is second nature to me, as a red mage i use vecure if im away from the healer or if i see the healer struggling and if the other party members are about to die from a mechanic ( for example the new raid), if vercure is part of my toolkit, i will use it when/ if nessesary. Kinda like bards with song ( never played bard)
You can disagree with the OP instead of insulting her/him people.

As an RDM I only self heal if I don't trust the healer, which is most healers in duty finder.
when I have tried really hard to trust the healer, I noramlly find myself flat on my back dead.
Age of War
Do disagree with the OP. It is not the job of a dps to do the healers job. RDM also has Tether. It doesn't mean they should use it all the time or make it part of their regular kit. The tool is there and there are times and places to use it. Doing the healers job is not one of them with Vercure. That is what the healer is there for, to heal. If the healer is not there or not doing there job then possibly depending on situation. If the healer is not there or not doing their job then there clearly are other problems that need adressing ( tank not waiting for healer, healer being lazy, etc. )

I was agreeing with your post too neela !
" Seeing a Rdm who gives a fuck about a struggling healer is as bad as a Rdm who heals all the way - Hybrid cls need hybrid priorities... its lame to say may icon is red I'll just blowing things up all the way - you are green so mind your own business... if you feel like that go for a raw dd like blm or sam... else don't be that tunnel viewed : /" - neela
1000 yes

Yeah, but the Op clearly said she want us to use vercure when shes busy dpsing. So nope. I wont do your job (Which is HEALING) When youre too busy doing mine (Which is MAINLY dpsing)

Fixed. ^_^Can you just heal yourselves most of the time? I can't do my job very well, and need a lot of help. I thought about playing DPS but it seemed like a good idea to be healer cause of que times. That'd be great if you could heal yourselves a lot more than I can place regen on you with a click of a button! With love, your healer complaining about not being able to do my job properly.

Enmity generation on pld is as much as flash. While yes, you can use flash much more per 1 clemency, you're also taking damage at the same time. But healing that damage + gaining enmity while allowing the healer to free up dpsing makes for a much easier time than having a healer stand there and do nothing for about 5 minutes watching netflix when clearing content can take less time with this tool.
Your rdm should be focusing on DPS. Your pld's taking the enmity generation during shield oath and keeping himself alive, to free up that time for healers to push. honestly, I get the most comms because my healers love me on pld more than war and drk. drks mitigation (even though I love my drk), is not as good as PLD's with clemency. Even with the buff to WAR, while it's in a much better position now, than it was in before, pld still reigns supreme on heals to self and mitigation in between dpsing and freeing up healer time dps with less chances of death.
Rdm potency is nice, but not as good as pld's.
RDM is 300.
PLD is 1200.
