Toggle Chocobo Music On/Off

Glad to hear about a toggle. Can they maybe add an option to have it play for a bit but auto-fade after a single loop of the song? That way I can still hear it when i want to, but on longer rides I'll have the chance to hear the zone music as well. I'd also like the ability to switch, or randomize, which chocobo music I hear--I got my personal chocobo the day they were available so I've barely heard the rental choco music at all.

I also think Rane's idea is a decent one, to have certain zones totally override the mount music for atmospheric reasons. It'll give kind of a "Not even your giant chicken can't protect you now" vibe =P.

Aside from a toggle button I'd even prefer a more mellow chocobo tune. Bringing up FFXI the chocobo tune was mellow and made riding soothing and in FFXIV the chocobo tune sounds out of place like it should be playing in the theme park and not everyday travel. >_> may..be.. we could replace the current chocobo music with FFXI's? >_< please don't hit me!

Honestly I feel the same as some others feel about the choco theme music. It just pulls a bad cord. Not that its terrible by any means, its just not something that i want to listen to constantly... However I do love the Gobbue music. Would be nice to be able to either switch the choco music to that or just give the choco music a more softer theme. Possible have 2 types, one for when you are just going on an adventure and another to choose from when you are farming/gathering because you are constantly on and off it.

My only complaint is the fact the music is darn loud, compared to all the other songs, I usually have to turn down my speakers, in turn that makes it hard to hear anything else.
(I know I'm not the only one, as all my RL friends have this problem, my BF, and my LS mates.)

Oh, perfect, I was thinking about creating a similar thread a few days ago. But then laziness struck.

Anyway, I'm happy to hear that a toggle option is in the works. The chocobo music is great, but the upbeat tune just isn't made for all places or situations.
