Command Missions: Suggestions and Feedback Thread.

I had a hard time trying to find a place to post this, so here we go @_@
These command missions have so much potential, yet they feel a bit... lacking.

A shorter duty without overly complex mechanics for the AI would fit this better. Something faster, like Guildheist style missions, like our solo duties we faced on StormBlood (which are pretty awesome). If you do that and scale to your class/job level like Beast tribes do (maybe even use your pvp skill set to try something different?), it would look far more fun than doing old overused content all over again.

As much as i love my squad i have to admit these Command Missions doesn't bring something new or "fun" to do.

You already have a leveling roulette that throws you at low level dungeons, and the rewards for doing old dungeons with the squad aren't enticing at all. You do the required missions for the emotes, and its game over.

Give us something to farm for! Another way to get the long forgotten Allied Seals, unlocking our squad as companions, a new mount (GC themed horse/hawk/bull/anything), a new pet, i dunno @_@!

It's a really promissing feature, but we need to give some feedback to improve it.

What are your toughts on it?

Grinding through the lower-level dungeons is an absolute chore since I don't have any jobs less than level 60. It's bad enough when I get them for leveling roulette, but when I pick them on my own... even the unnaturally high DPS of my squadron doesn't really seem to help. Definitely not going to touch it any more once I get the emotes.

Also it's great that the CNJ does DPS too but I think Cecily has it out for me. She lets me get scary low before casting cure II on me when I tank. I actually had to use pots in my second attempt on the last boss in Braflox's Longstop.

My suggestion would also be have the squad actions act as a pet hotbar

I complete agree. While leveling lower classes is nice, I have nothing that benefits from those levels though. So adding something like a mount, glamour, rare items, or expensive vendor trash would be nice. After getting the emotes, I feel like there is nothing else for me to do with these missions. I keep holding out hopr that there is new chemistry at 60 that reward grade 6 materia or such, but I doubt that exist.

I enjoy doing regular old dungeons with my squadron. I've got the emotes already but I still do dungeons to level their "AI rank".
It's not any different than grinding roulettes and dungeon to increase your Ilvl on your main class. It's just an objective.

For sure once I get all my squadron members to max AI rank, which should take many dungeons, I will stop playing with them until there is new dungeons for them to complete.

But if you're only interested in squadron solely for the benefit they can give to your character, it's over once you get the emotes.
Same goes for Triple Triad, Lord of Vermillion or Chocobo racing, that once you've got their special rewards, there is no real interest to play them unless you like playing these games.

I'm also looking to the future, that as new harder squadron dungeons are added, having leveled their rank to max will pay off , and also possible new reward added with them.
