Oh my. I didnt even think of the interactive item limit problem!

Yea we need a way to disable these walls to lock them as mentioned. A good way to do this could be a toggle option. "Lock walls" to prevent the wallpaper change or so.

Issue in FC houses is this. Everyone can access the walls. Now that alone doesn't create an issue.. What IS an issue right now are limited edition seasonal walls. Ones that used to be buyable and MB buyable.. now are only on the mogstation buyable.. and when you need least 4 or 5 wallpapers for a room.. So either you spent 500k per wallpaper or few $$$ on the mogstation, would SUCK to see someone replace it on you and then its unrecoverable.

The option to change the blank partition should only appears while the housing menu is opened.
And wallpaper could go to storage too, so we don't lost our seasonal wallpaper :<

I agree! If they could make it so flower pots and partitions were editable when you are placing furniture then there would be no need for them to be ''interactive'' at all ^_^~!

I must say though, I am impressed that they retain their wallpaper choices when stored as well. These are great furnishings.

There needs a way to do that because of the limit, also it would be nice to have wallpaper doors and such too

Keep the comments coming everyone. Let the devs see this so they can help assist us tweak these new blank partitions.

    So far we have:
1: A way to hide/lock down the walls so they dont spam a screen
    2: Interactive item limit issue
3: Seasonal wallpaper woes.. since THESE can be replaced by anyone with house access (Or FCs) causing a loss of real money potentially.
4: Possible handling like orchestration rolls.. where once you unlock a seasonal, it stays with you.

I would also love a "lock furnishing" in edit mode. Most of the times, when 2 furnishings are next to each other and I want to move the smaller furnishing, it would take like 10+ attempts and many camera angle adjustments to be able to click on the correct item...because the bigger thing always get clicked first even when my mouse cursor is well away from it. If we can lock specific stuff and disable the ability to click/move it, we will have a much better time when editing furnishings.

Oh god, I didn't even think about that! It wasn't the end of the world with Picture Frames, since we could just re-buy them for a few thousand gil, but with wallpapers this is completely unacceptable. Bad enough that we have to have a separate (potentially bank-breaking) copy of the wallpaper for every single partition but adding to that the ability for an random FC member to accidentally destroy it and this system needs to be fixed ASAP.

Yes. The interactive item limit sucks very badly. I am really annoyed how my partitions keep disappearing when I tilt my camera or walk around the house. A lock function that disables each of the interactive furnishings and excludes it from counting towards the limit would be really really nice.
