    Personal preference:

#0 Use macros. After a summer overseas with bad internet, it's just too damn exhausting to manually craft all the time. I'm macro-ing now as I type.

#1 All Lv15. Cross-class skills Hasty Touch and Careful Synthesis are your staple until 60+; some like Rumination and Tricks of the Trade, too.

#2 CUL Lv37, CRP Lv50. You want Steady Hand II for more skill success rate. You NEED Byregot's Blessing for its HUGE Quality boost. (It bumps your HQ% and EXP% bonus UP.)

#3 Whatever you can tolerate. Grind if you have the mats; get friends who can craft you HQ leve items. You can go surprisingly far on mats, but it's still better to turn in a NQ leve item than to let your allowances go to waste.

    Happy crafting!

    NOTE:
    * Moogle Dailies are INSANE EXP; very efficient from 50-60.
    * Put up a party in PF for advice. You can get crafting mentors this way! My friend got a response in 5min.
    * Collectibles are hit or miss.

This is eventually good advice. I use macros quite a bit myself. But personally, I find them significantly less useful while leveling, particularly early leveling.

For one thing, each new level you hit is likely to change your rotations, either because you get a new skill, or you gain enough CP to include another skill use. And early on, you're going through levels fairly fast. It's just not worth the hassle to keep changing your macros each time, keeping track of which of them to use with which class (since they'll generally be at slightly different levels).

Also, since macros can't make effective use of Excellent/Good/Normal/Poor conditions, they're most effective when making lots of stuff that's well below your current level (where you can just outpower its difficulty without needing to make the best use of conditions). Someone just starting off isn't going to be that far above the recipes they're making for a while.

So I'd say, while you're leveling up, craft directly, learning how the skills work together. Keep macros in mind for later, once your level and CP have stabilized to something you're going to be staying with for a while, and when you're leveled well above the recipes you want to craft in bulk.

True!! I didn't macro under All-20; manual crafts make better use of Good/Excellent; it's paramount to learn how skills work together.

From personal experience though, it's good to use macros as soon comfortably possible. CUL37 + CRP50 + 212CP** makes for a minimalist rotation by Lv21. I might change it once before Lv50 to add Touches.

Macros have incredible time & energy efficiency. Tme spent hoping for Good/Excellent status is better spent speeding through bulk-bought mats. (Honestly, RNG gyps pretty badly regardless of crafting strategy. I notice little difference in condition advantage.) Time spent burnt out from manual crafts is better avoided by macros and fun.

Did you level all your classes to 15 as well Like Pugilist, Archer... etc?

This only applies for Disciple of Hand (Crafting Classes), their skills are not affected by the Disciple of Magic and Disciple of War (Battle Classes) level.

I'd start on getting all to 15 then pick up maybe Weaver or Culinarian. Combine this with a gathering class and you can make some nice gil

This isn't required anymore. Back before Stormblood we "needed" to level certain classes to 15 or higher to unlock some cross skills.
